I went and saw The Clash and the John Lennon exhibits while it was here. This sucks, but I guess they’re leaving because nobody knew it was there. What a shame.

That’s really too bad.  I was a fan.  I only went once, but my experience was immensely enjoyable.

Ad agency Wieden + Kennedy’s motto done in clear thumb tacks.
Wieden + Kennedy 12, an experimental advertising school run by Portland ad agency W+K, is responsible for buying out all available clear push pins on the west coast of the US. Over 100,000 thumbtacks were used over 351 hours to create a wall mural that spells out Fail Harder, a message that underlines the importance of failure during the creative process.

Next time something doesn’t go according to plan at work, I’m pointing them in the direction of this post.

Bizarre Foods

I found out yesterday that I’ve actually eaten something that Andrew Zimmern ate on his Bizarre Foods show on the Travel Channel.  On top of that, it was at the exact same eco-lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Eating BBQ grubs is the new black.

How's Your Day?

maryrambin:

It’s another beautiful day in Southern California.  You can’t beat beaming sunshine and a cool breeze to start the day.

Mason, Sookie, and I took a nice stroll to get our blood flowing earlier, and now I’m editing the hyperbaric chamber video from yesterday.

In about 20 minutes, I’m taking a break for Keith’s spin class at Equinox in Weho.

So the answer to my question is, “Great!”

You?

My days will hopefully start to be as great when I move to SoCal.  Jeez, I can’t wait.
